The International Student Welfare Officer is Dr Lynn Hilditch, and her role is to provide practical advice and support for all our international students during your time as a student here at the University.

Lynn is based within the Student Development and Well-being team in the Gateway Building (First Floor) at Hope Park. The Student Development and Well-being team offer many excellent services for our international students including International Student Welfare, Careers Advice, Health information, Counselling and Listening Support, and a Disabilities Advice Service. International Student Welfare also offer drop-in sessions every Friday when students can call in for advice without the need for an appointment. Formal appointments can be booked via Student Development and Well-being. For information regarding visas, immigration and procedures relating to international student letters and forms, please visit the Student Administration pages. For pre-arrival information or scholarships, please contact our International Recruitment team.

Members of the International Welfare team can advise you on a range of issues that may affect you during your stay, such as how to register with a doctor, open a bank account, seek medical advice or find part-time work. We also offer a programme of cultural and social events and trips throughout the year. If you have any questions or just want to have a chat, please feel free to drop in or make an appointment to speak to Lynn or one of her colleagues on the first floor of the Gateway Building. You can also keep up to date with all the latest International Student news and events by joining our lively International social communities on Facebook at Hope International Student Welfare and Liverpool Hope International Buddies.

We hope that you will enjoy your experience in Liverpool and take advantage of the many opportunities available to you here at Liverpool Hope University!
