Funding

There is help available from both the government and the University in the form of grants, bursaries, scholarships and loans. Loans have to be repaid whereas grants, bursaries and scholarships do not.

Tuition fees will be £8,250 per year in 2012/13 for full time home (UK) and EU Undergraduate students and £9,000 per year for full time home (UK) and EU PGCE students. Most full-time home (UK) and EU students will be eligible to apply for a fee loan from the Students Loan Company and the amount you receive is not means tested. You don’t start paying your loan back until after you graduate and you are earning over £21,000, and even then you are paying back a minimal amount.
