WELCOME TO POSTGRADUATE STUDY
There are many reasons to undertake postgraduate study. One of the most common reasons students undertake postgraduate study is to enhance their career prospects. Competition for jobs can be fierce and in some cases having a postgraduate qualification or masters can give you an edge over the competition.
We offer a range of Postgraduate courses across three Faculties:-
Arts and Humanities
The Faculty of Arts & Humanities embraces a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and the creative and performing arts. Located across both of the University’s campuses, the Faculty offers both undergraduate and postgraduate study opportunities in a picturesque and vibrant environment.
Education
The Faculty of Education has a long and proud tradition of excellence going back to the foundations of the University when, as a teacher education college in 1844, it began to educate teachers in the Christian tradition for the rapidly growing communities of Liverpool and the North West. The Faculty has built on the great work of those educational pioneers and has today developed into a global hub for educational studies and research, reaching out to international communities and providing exciting and innovative opportunities for study and professional development.
Sciences and Social Sciences
The Faculty of Sciences and Social Sciences offers an innovative and contemporary range of postgraduate programmes, professional training qualifications and consultancy. The Faculty’s postgraduate provision builds on current research expertise, as well as underpinning the University’s ethos and values to support principles of equality, social justice, and community and international development. Taught Masters awards include Business and Management, Marketing Management, Environmental Management, Criminal Justice, Research Methods, Computer Sciences, Health Exercise and Nutrition with PhD study opportunities available in a range of disciplines.
