The University has attracted eminent scholars from the UK and abroad who are actively involved in its scholarly life and work. Visiting Professors during their visits run seminars and/ or assist with staff and more general academic development. Adjunct Professors are those members of staff whose contribution to Hope is equivalent to approximately two weeks full-time work (or more) in any one academic year. All Adjunct Professors either already hold senior appointments elsewhere or else have done so in the past. They are normally at Professorial level in their own Universities. Adjunct Professors normally teach at Masters level and may supervise PhD research students.
