Hany Ahmed has joined the Liverpool Hope University - Business School – in September 2017 as a lecturer in Accounting & Finance. Prior to joining the Liverpool Hope University, he had taught a variety of courses at The University of Hull - Business School - for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
He holds first and MSc degrees in Accounting and Finance, and a PhD degree in Finance. He obtained his doctorate from The University of Hull, UK. He also joined the ACCA qualification to link the academic with professional practice. He obtained certificates in advanced Microeconometrics using STATA programming from the University of Cambridge, UK. Recently, he develops financial mathematics modelling using MATLAB programming.
He is also teaching Research Methods and Dissertation, Quantitative Analysis, and Econometrics for undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is specialist in data management and analysis in research projects using Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters data sources for massive data.
