Philip Duffy, KSG, GRSM, ARMCM, PGCE, Hon FGCM, FHEA, FRSCM.

I  was Master of the Music at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Liverpool, 1966-96, and I have been on the staff of Liverpool Hope University since 2000.

I  was a Senior Lecturer in Music, also acting as the first Award Director for the BA Creative & Performing Arts programme. In 2004 I  was appointed Course Leader for BA Creative & Performing Arts, Dance, Music, Music Technology & Popular Music Studies, and in 2008 I became Director of Performance.

I have now mainly retired from the University; my sole responsibility is to be Director of the University Chamber Choir. I am also the Associate Director of the Schola Gregoriana of Cambridge.

My particular interest has been the composition for music for the RC Church, and I have very many liturgical settings to my name.
