Dr Clay Grandsen has been involved with Hope University since 2004, initially as an undergraduate student graduating in 2007. Dr Gransden then began studying his Phd in 2008 in the area of customer delight in the hospitality sector. In addition to Dr. Gransden's academic expertise, he also has over 10 years’ experience working in the Hospitality and Marketing sector. In May 2016 he was co-author of a chapter published in the 'Handbook of Research on Consumerism and Buying Behaviour in Developing Nations'. In the same month his research on delight was awarded 'best in track' at the 'International Conference on Hospitality and Management' held in Bangkok. Currently Clay is involved in several research and consultancy projects, providing guidance and expertise in hospitality marketing and social media at a local, regional and international level.
