I received my PhD in 1972 at the Humboldt University in Berlin and worked afterwards at various universities and research institutes in Berlin, Munich and Wuerzburg. My research interests comprise the functions of attention, perception, and memory in the control of voluntary behaviour and, vice versa, the impact behaviour has on attention, perception, and memory.
