A Popular Music Studies specialist, Veronica's research is primarily concerned with collecting cultures, materiality and aesthetics. One of the main aims of her research is to highlight how diverse and active music fandom and consumption is. There is a clear focus on the listener and reader-response theories, questioning meta-narratives and exploring hidden histories. She currently co-curates the Harry McKinnell Popular Music Resource Centre housed at the Liverpool Hope Creative Campus and regularly features as a research adviser and/or expert commentator in various media.
