Since my PhD I have been involved in the following projects: The effect of exercise training on heart function, aerobic fitness and health of the blood vessels in trained and untrained adolescent girls. Evaluating the vascular health check service in Blackburn and Darwen. This research was funded by Blackburn and Darwen PCT. The effects of a 12 week walking programme on physiological and psychological health: Is 10,000 steps a day enough.
