I studied Art History and Italian in Berlin (Germany) and Siena (Italy) and gained my BA, MA and PhD from the Free University Berlin. After working in Museums in Berlin and New York, I joined Liverpool Hope University from Cardiff University in 2011. My key role in the team of Art Historians at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts is to co-ordinate the pathway BA Art and Design History. I teach Art History to BA Art and Design History students, Level 1 and 2 Fine Art and Design students and MA Art History and Curating students. My areas of teaching cover 14-16th century European Art, Art Works with Propaganda purpose, Political Art and Photography.
