I spent many years working in Secondary Education in both ICT and Mathematics, holding, at different times, posts as Head of Mathematics, Head of ICT, Systems Manager and Community Coordinator. I also spent 2 years working as an Advisory Teacher in Sefton, Merseyside. I joined the staff at Liverpool Hope University in 2006 and am currently studying towards a PhD investigating the relationship between homework and learning.
I am currently working as part of the RAVIOLHE project at Liverpool Hope University which aims to explore the effectiveness of rich media deployment within on-line resources. In particular, I am investigating the issues concerned with the use of e-portfolios for an evidence base for trainee teachers.
