Gaynor Melville gained a BA Honours degree in Sociology and History from the University of Liverpool and then an MA in Criminal Justice from the University of Liverpool. Her current research interests are in the representation of crime and justice in the media and in the position of victims in the criminal justice system and the science of victimology.
