Overview

This is a Postgraduate qualification aimed at experienced senior managers who wish to gain a qualification that recognises their existing expertise, while gaining valuable theoretical knowledge which can be applied directly in their management practice.

The CMI Level 7 Award covers module 7001, ‘Personal Development as a Strategic Manager’.

This unit is about the leadership skills required by a manager to operate effectively at a strategic level.

Course length: 4 weeks, one evening a week

The unit will teach participants to:

• Identify personal skills to achieve strategic ambitions

• Manage personal leadership development to support achievement of strategic ambitions

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the leadership development plan

• Advocate a staff welfare environment that supports organisational values.

This course is accredited by CMI. Delegates will receive a CMI Level 7 Award in Management and Leadership after successful completion of the course.
