Insights Discovery

Insights Discovery

Duration: Flexible

Overview

This course is designed to help students gain a deep insight themselves and their colleagues, uncover meaning in preferences and behaviour and learn to adapt and connect with others to create strong and effective relationships.

This course can be delivered in a variety of ways including INSET days, half days and twilight sessions. Minimum sessions will include profiling and a two to three hour debrief session.

Curriculum

Insights Discovery uses a simple and accessible four colour model to understand an individual’s unique preferences. We measure these preferences based on responses to a short online evaluator that students will complete prior to their training with us. One of the outputs is a 20 page personality profile, which identifies strengths and areas for development.

Insights Discovery begins by helping students to uncover who they are and how they interact with others, with great depth of insight. It includes one-to-one coaching and team development to improved communication and leadership skills.

Every Discovery Personal Profile provides information on an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, communication style, and their value to a team. Each profile includes suggestions for development that can be put into practice straight away. Additional chapters are available to support learning and development across a range of areas.

Progression

Students may wish to progress further by enrolling onto one of our 30 credit Masters level courses including Mentoring and Coaching, The Professional Development Project, Teaching and Learning or Curriculum Theory and Development.
