This qualification will equip managers to minimise absence, encourage people back to work where possible, and deal effectively with the well-being issues of their staff.
Healthy workers can be almost three times more productive than employees with health and well-being issues*. On average, every worker in Britain is absent for seven days each year due to illness. In the public sector the average is almost ten days per year per employee. A correctly implemented health and well-being programme will help reduce absenteeism and staff turnover leading to increased skill retention and a reduction in training and recruitment costs.
