Liverpool is the most successful footballing city in England: its two famous teams play in the Premier League and you can take tours of their respective stadia at Anfield and Goodison Park. Liverpool FC now has its very own European Cup after winning the European Champions League for the fifth time in 2005. Whatever your interests, you will find that Liverpool is a great place to study. Even if you don’t know a great deal about Liverpool, there are two things you may have heard about the city - it’s the birthplace of The Beatles and it has two famous football teams, Liverpool and Everton.
