As a Sport & Exercise Science student, you will study a variety of relevant disciplines including sport physiology, sport psychology, health science, exercise science and coaching science. You will be able to specialise and can choose from completing an in-depth study of elite sport performers, exercise physiology, health and fitness or nutrition.
Single honours students will complete a dissertation on an area of interest such as study in the laboratory or a sporting environment.

The standard offer level is a minimum of 300 UCAS points, including a minimum of two A/A2 levels or equivalent. In addition, applicants require a A/A2 level in Sport, PE, Biology (or equivalent) and GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics.
Sport and Exercise Science is a BSc Single Honours course, UCAS code C604.
Sport and Exercise Science graduates’ careers include sport science support, working with elite teams, personal trainers and fitness specialists. You will also have the skills to develop a career as a health specialist, exercise psychologist or sports coach.
Many graduates choose to study at Masters and Doctorate level, including postgraduate teaching qualifications and have become sports teachers or subject leaders in schools.
