Choosing which university to attend is a big decision and it is important to get it right. Liverpool Hope University is offering 150 Year 12 students from faith schools the opportunity to attend a Summer University from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th July 2012 inclusive.
Students must be on target to achieve a minimum of 300 UCAS points, and have 7 GCSE passes, grades A* to C, including English, Mathematics and a Science. Students must be studying at a faith school or college.
The Summer University offers a real opportunity for students to experience subjects they are interested in studying at degree level and see what it’s like to be an undergraduate. The Summer University will provide challenging academic work that we believe will build self-confidence and increase knowledge and understanding of university level work.
It is free and students will benefit from working with our academic staff and spending time with current undergraduates. There will also be social activities so students will get a rounded and realistic view of what it is like to be an undergraduate today. Each faculty will offer exciting and interactive programmes. There are a number of different programmes being offered from across all three faculties and students will choose one programme to study.
