Walk for Health

Walk for Health Liverpool is a series of short guided walks in the parks and open spaces across Liverpool. It is aimed at people who would like to get started if they haven't been active for a while or simply want to build up and maintain some form of fitness levels.

Liverpool Loop Line

The Loop Line is a fantastic, popular traffic free, wildlife route running from Halewood to Aintree and on to Southport on the Cheshire lines path. This fabulous walking and cycling route follows the old railway line and is looked after by Sustrans.

Global Corporate Challenge (GCC)

Liverpool Hope University entered 42 members of staff into  the Global Corporate Challenge 2010.

The GCC is an initiative specifically designed to motivate employees to walk over 10,000 steps per day – a proven (and recommended) way to mprove your overall health & productivity. The GCC empowers staff to ake simple, healthier decisions such as taking a short walk at lunch time or taking the stairs instead of the lift.
