Liverpool Hope University Business School (LHBS) is an AACSB accredited Business school, seeking a creative and highly-motivated individual to work with others to deliver the School’s strategy. The particular focus entrusted to our new colleague will be the further enhancement of the employability of its graduates. You will be a proactive individual who is keen to provide an interface between LHBS and industry partners in the City Sub Region, and beyond, under the Framework of ‘Hope Solutions’. As such, the ability to build and sustain relationships with employers will be key.
Hope Solutions is a framework for delivering a range of services and support – both to students and employers. Under this framework, the successful candidate will develop and deliver student placements, consultancy services, professional skills development and CPD. The post holder will be expected to oversee an increase in the number of placement opportunities available to students and will also work to raise even further (from the current high level) the percentage of Hope Business School Graduate securing graduate-level positions. Other responsibilities include the expansion of the alumni network, the increase in the external profile of LHBS, the establishment of virtual entrepreneurial hub and a development of the curriculum to reflect a renewed focus on external engagement.
The post holder will report to the Head of the Business School and will also be required to work as part of a wider University team under the overall supervision of the Director of Professional Development.
The post is permanent, subject to the normal probationary period of twelve months.
