Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, Sand Dune Network - Ref: Ref: 2APTE2
Liverpool Hope University wishes to recruit a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant for the Sand Dune Network. The post will be based in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science. In addition to supporting the general activities of the network, this post will assist with a research project to investigate British coastal golf courses and player responses to climate change.
The research project is commissioned by the R&A (the ruling authority of golf throughout the world, except in North America (www.randa.org) and is in partnership with Royal Haskoning DHV (an international engineering consultancy https://www.royalhaskoningdhv.com).
We are seeking an individual who is skilled in planning, delivering, coding and analysing a range of qualitative interventions (e.g. on-line questionnaires, on-line semi-structured interviews etc) related to the golf courses and climate change project. The successful applicant will provide research and administrative support to the academic manager responsible for the delivery of this research project.
The successful applicant will also provide administrative support to re-launch the Sand Dune Network. Duties will include providing assistant in re-populating the network web site content, assisting with the production of newsletters, updating a contact data base, managing the network email and assisting with the organisation of network events and activities.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in an area relevant to the requirements of the post.
This is a fixed-term appointment until 30th April 2021.
