Web Content Coordinator - 4AEREL1J
Liverpool Hope University is looking to recruit a Web Content Coordinator to work within External Relations, taking the lead on implementing the University’s communications strategy – in particular with regards to web content creation and management.
You will join a busy and driven External Relations team, and will be responsible for ensuring the University’s web pages are developed and maintained to high standards, while working to improve user experience and ensuring that Hope’s online presence provides a ‘shop window’ for its attractive educational offering.
As Web Content Coordinator, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), have a high level of literacy, and have both experience of working on CMS systems, as well as experience of writing content for websites.
You must have excellent presentation skills, experience in, or a good understanding of, user experience (UX), a good understanding of HTML and CSS, a firm understanding of accessibility issues, and must be comfortable offering CMS training for a wide variety of University personnel.
And as you will need to forge strong and productive relationships with the Schools and Departments across the University, as part of your efforts to keep web pages optimised and up to date, you will also need excellent communication skills.
You will be organised and be motivated to work to tight deadlines, either as part of a team or independently.
This post is permanent, subject to the normal 12 month probationary period.
