Northern Ireland Applicant Day

Visit us in Belfast on Saturday 24th February 2024.

Time: 10am - 2pm

Location: Radisson Blu Hotel, Belfast City Centre, BT7 2JB

This is a good opportunity for our Northern Irish applicants to attend with their close friends/family, that is somewhere closer to home. With an impressive 13% of our overall student body stemming from Northern Ireland, we know how important it is to be presented with the right information in order to transition with ease to a different city.

What will be covered on the day?

  • A welcome talk, by the Director of Student Futures - this will include details of living on campus, what it is like to study at a campus-based university, social activities on offer e.g. clubs and societies and the Student Union, study abroad opportunities, wider Liverpool life, and specific Northern Irish relevant information (e.g. transport/wider community programmes).
  • There will be support staff from the university present on the day that you may want to talk to, such as Student Recruitment and Careers and Employability departments.
  • There will be a range of academics from different disciplines available for 1:1s on the day to showcase different programmes of study, and to get a feel for the curriculum and how you can make the best relationships with your personal tutors.
  • On the day, we will have some of our student ambassadors (some of which came from Northern Ireland) available to share their experiences with you and to support you with any questions that you may have.
  • Time will be dedicated to reserving your accommodation and our staff can help with this short informal process.
