Belfast Initial Teacher Training Event

PLEASE NOTE: Interviews are now full for this event, but you are still welcome to attend the information talks throughout the day.

As UCAS registration is now open for teaching courses starting in September 2018, you can apply to our study on one of our PGCE courses or BA Primary Education with QTS by logging into your UCAS account. We will then contact you with an update on the progress of your application and to confirm if you have been selected to attend at Interview Day at our Hope Park Campus.

Calling all aspiring teachers!

Liverpool Hope University is coming to Belfast City Centre for a two-day Teacher Training event on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October 2017.

Whether you're interested in applying for an undergraduate three year Primary Education with QTS degree, or a one year postgraduate PGCE course, our School of Teacher Education team will be able to answer your questions.

There will be a series of talks throughout the day and we will also be holding selection interviews for those who are on track to meet the entry requirements for the course.

Undergraduate - Primary Education with QTS BA (Hons)

Studying for your Primary Education with QTS degree at Liverpool Hope will start you on an engaging and rewarding path to becoming an outstanding and inspiring Primary Teacher!

Postgraduate - PGCE Early Years, Primary and Secondary

If you have drive, enthusiasm and are ambitious to make a difference as a teacher, come along to our selection event, where you can get a head start on applying for a PGCE course at Liverpool Hope, starting in September 2018.

Depending on the course you choose to apply for, you may be eligible for a bursary ranging from £3,000 to £30,000 - the government's Get into Teaching website and Student finance has up to date information about the bursaries and scholarships available.
