Graduate jobs are competitive, with approximately 70 applications submitted for every graduate job. The Employability Hub is striving to support students and graduates in achieving their dream career, by producing quality applications and CVs, interview tips, work experience, and job vacancy information. From the moment you arrive at Hope until well after you graduate, the Employability Hub is here for you.
We offer a range of services for students and graduates, aimed to improve your chances at your dream career. Whether it’s an appointment with a Careers Advisor, or a drop in careers express chat, we have a variety of services just for you.
The Hub has a number of drop-in sessions, such as Careers Express and advice on work experience. Information about SALA or job vacancies is also available, and you can even sign up to Hope Works, a part-time job service if you want to find a job on campus.
This is a “drop-in” service, for any queries you might have for a professional careers advisor. During Careers Express, you can expect to speak to a Careers Advisor for 10-15 minutes, and is your opportunity to access quick accurate information on a personal level. You can get advice on work experience, and ways to get a foot in the door of your ideal career. You can also have your CV or cover letter looked at, as well as application forms and interview help.
Hope Works supplies jobs for students on campus, either at Hope Park or the Creative Campus. A wide range of jobs are available for students, and provides great paid employment opportunities, valuable for jobs and careers in the future. Find out more about Hope Works.
