Personalised Careers Advice

Here at Hope we recognise that you are a unique individual and we pride ourselves on being able to offer our students personalised, impartial, expert advice.

The Careers & Employability team are here to help students and graduates to achieve their dream career. We can provide information, advice and guidance to support career decisions all the way through to securing a job. From the moment you arrive at Hope until well after you graduate, our Careers & Employability team are here for you.

The Employability Hub

Located in the Gateway Building on Hope Park campus, this is where you can always find us. From here we run drop-in sessions, events and workshops. You can get advice and support with Internships & Placements, Hope Works and DofE & SALA. Look out for upcoming sessions and events on My Careers Centre or social media.

Careers Express

This is our drop-in service where students can get see an adviser without an appointment for quick questions and queries. You could get your CV checked, ask about internships and placements or find out more about doing the SALA or DOfE. You can see drop in times and days here.  

Finding Work

We advertise a range of work opportunites from part time to gradaute schemes. Employers regularly post their vacancies to our online jobs board on My Careers Centre, these come directly from the employers themselves and can only be accessed by Hope students. There is also Hope Works for part time work on campus, visit the Hope Works page for more details. If you are in need of a job while you're studying or a more permanent position once you've gradauted get in touch and see how we can help you. We also offer internships & placements which can help you gain valuable experience to help you secure your chosen career.
