In the past five years the University has gone from strength to strength which is reflected in major league tables. Liverpool Hope’s TEF Gold rating places it alongside Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, five other Russell Group Universities, Bath and Lancaster for teaching excellence. It is the only university in Liverpool to have achieved this rating.
According to the government’s Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the Gold award signals that teaching at Liverpool Hope is “of the highest quality found in the UK" and that the university is "delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students."
The University achieved an overall student satisfaction rate of 87 per cent in the latest National Student Survey, which ranks Liverpool Hope in the top 25 in the UK and top 2 in the North West for the second year running. The National Student Survey gathers feedback from final-year undergraduates across the UK, and asks for their opinions on their course and institution.
Liverpool Hope University is top 2 in the UK universities ranking and 1st in England for graduate employability. The number of Liverpool Hope graduates in employment or further education six months after graduating has risen to 98.1 per cent.
At Liverpool Hope, we want our students to have the best possible chance to embark on stimulating, rewarding and successful careers. The Employability Hub is a facility provided by the University, and is specifically designed to help students stand out from the crowd.
Liverpool Hope University is ranked as 7th in the UK for having teaching staff with doctorates, this is something we are incredibly proud of and ensure that our students are engaged with research as much as learning when studying here. With 75% of our teaching staff gaining doctorates in their field and more than a third of the research output from the University being rated as world leading or internationally excellent, you will be learning from the best.
Liverpool Hope University has risen a further 23 places in the latest Guardian University League Tables 2019, achieving the impressive ranking of 33 in the national league table.
