Newly and Recently Qualified Teachers

If you have recently completed your teacher training degree, these pages are here to help you as you begin your teaching career.

We realise that your first year as a teacher can be both exciting and daunting with many challenges ahead. This is why our commitment to you as a Liverpool Hope student does not stop once you have graduated. We feel it is crucial to continue to support and encourage you during your first year of teaching and beyond to ensure you have a strong foundation to become outstanding practitioners.

Liverpool Hope is offering to all NQTs and RQTs the opportunity to engage in a support programme that will help you to update your knowledge, skills and ability in key areas that are essential in becoming an effective and competent teaching practitioner. Even if you have not secured a teaching position as yet, you will have access to a range of conferences, twilight sessions, online resources and tutor support.

  • NQT/RQT subsidised Conferences that will take place at significant points throughout 2019-2020 free of charge. Workshops and lectures will be led by guest speakers and experts in the field of education.
