School of Education Events

Throughout the year, we run a number of events aimed at students considering studying for a teacher training degree at Liverpool Hope University.

These events are a great way to get to know us a little more, find out about our courses and speak to tutors and students about what training to be a teacher at Liverpool Hope is really like.

Northern Ireland Teacher Training Event

Come along to our open day event on Wednesday 13th July 2022 at the Europa Hotel, Great Victoria Street, Belfast, BT2 7AP.

The events are designed to help you find out more about completing your teacher training at Liverpool Hope.

Additional opportunities

If you haven’t yet decided whether teaching is for you, or you want to study an education-based BA degree and then complete a PGCE, our BA programmes in Education studies and Early Childhood studies could be for you.

These can be studied as single honours or combined honours degrees alongside subjects such as SEN, Psychology, Dance, and Childhood and Youth. These programmes open doors to a wide range of careers, including educational psychologist, community education officer, education consultant, education mental health practitioner, English as a foreign language teacher, learning mentor, and special educational needs coordinator (SENCO), among others.

Colleagues from our Education and Early Childhood programmes will be available to speak with between 10am and 1pm if you would like to find out more.
