Liverpool Hope University Learning and Teaching Days are normally constituted of three staff development days spread across the academic year. The September and May events are University-wide, often centred on a specific topical theme, with opportunities for collaboration, sharing good practice and professional development through training workshops. The content of the Faculty event is decided at the discretion of the Deans with input from the FQLT Chairs.
This year's Learning and Teaching Days have been approved by Senate to take place on the following dates:
In addition to compulsory attendance at the above, all academic staff are required to attend five one-hour Community of Practice sessions throughout the year. These arrangements, whilst reducing the disruption to teaching, give staff an increased amount of flexibility in what L&T events they attend and also ensure that the key University messages are communicated effectively.
