Global Hope is the University's international volunteering programme. It gives you an opportunity to act as a global citizen by engaging with issues of social justice and participating in projects in countries such as India, Sri Lanka and Brazil.
Please note that the University is not providing overseas opportunities for students this academic year 2020/21. This is due to the continued uncertainty in the countries where our partners are based, caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Therefore, with regret, we are not planning any overseas Global Hope projects for Summer 2021.
Support for Partners
Global Hope has been supporting its overseas partners during the Coronavirus pandemic. Details of how we have done this can be found here.
Each year, we run a number of projects in different countries. Visit our projects page to see this year's projects.
If you'd like to take part in Global Hope, you'll need to raise at least £1,500 towards Global Hope. Visit our costs page for further details and fundraising ideas.
