GYRO – gay youth ‘r’ out, Young Person’s Advisory Service (YPAS)

GYRO provides a safe, comfortable space where young people aged 12-25 years old who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans or Questioning their sexuality or gender identity (LGBTQ) can get to know other young people like themselves.

Spirit Level

Spirit Level is a support group for transgender people in Liverpool. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 7.00pm to 9.00 pm at the Armistead Centre, Liverpool. Spirit Level also welcomes friends, family, carers and anyone trying to understand issues of gender identity. Membership is also free.

Trans Support Service (TSS), Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust

LCH Trans Support Service is a new service which has been set up to support local transsexual, transgender, and gender non-conforming people by listening to them, informing them of available options to relieve their gender distress and empowering them to move forward with their lives.

Clients will usually be referred to the service by their GP and can then expect up to 4 hour long sessions with an experienced Therapist/Counsellor.
