International Exchange Package Fees

As an exchange student, you will not need to pay tuition fees. However, you will still need to pay for your accommodation and living costs. Our cost packages have a number of benefits, including campus accommodation, a catering card, an orientation programme and continuous support from the International Hub.

Our generous International Exchange package includes:

  • a pre-paid catering card with the equivalent of £35 per week of credit, to be used in any catering outlet or store at Hope Park or the Creative Campus
  • airport pick-up from Manchester International Airport if required
  • a new bed pack with single duvet, pillow, covers and sheet
  • an Orientation Programme and the support of the International Hub
  • 24 hour Security and evening and weekend Residential Life staff
  • on-site Launderette
  • free shuttle buses to and from the teaching campuses
  • unrestricted use of the Library and IT facilities at the teaching campuses
  • free WiFi in your study room and all areas of the University (restricted for on-line gaming)
  • the services of our Counselling and Learning Support teams
  • free membership of Hope Park Sports and free use of all facilities (subject to induction fee of £25)
  • a weekly ‘British Life’ culture course
  • the opportunity to gain a ‘Certificate in Service and Leadership’

Additional costs

When you join us as part of our International Exchange programme, please be aware that there may be additional costs such as living expenses, health insurance, transport and course materials/books. These additional costs can range from approximately £2,000-£3,500.


Paying Your Fees

You will be required to pay your fees after you have registered for your programme, advice on how to do this will be given in early September by the International Hub. 

You should arrange to pay your package in full before your arrival at Liverpool Hope, preferably one week before travel unless you are studying for a full academic year with Liverpool Hope in which case 50% of the fee should be paid prior to your arrival and 50% within three months of arrival. If your University or College pays your fees on your behalf you should ensure they have been invoiced and have paid the fee prior to your arrival. 

To make a payment to Liverpool Hope you should use the Liverpool Hope Bank Transfer (powered by our partner Western Union Business Solutions). By using this service you can pay in your local currency from your home bank account so you don't need to worry about exchange rates or bank charges.
