Visiting the library
Visitor access remains limited. Registered visitors will be updated when we are able to reopen to visitors.
If you are eligible to visit the library then you’ll need to complete and return library visitor application form. Once we receive your form, our Director of Library Services will assess it and contact you with further information.
You will need to provide photographic proof of identification e.g. driving licence or passport, and proof of your address e.g. header of a recent utility bill, as well as a passport sized photograph that can be added to your ID card.
The Director of Library and Learning Spaces will make a decision based on the information provided on the form and you will be contacted with further instructions. (In some cases the Director may authorise a reference card which will allow access to the building and print resources without borrowing rights).
Although external users are welcome the library’s main focus is to support the students and staff of Liverpool Hope University and so not all facilities are available to externals. For example, access to computers, online resources, printing and photocopying or use of group study spaces and study carrels is reserved for Liverpool Hope users.
If you are from a Higher Education institution that is part of the Eduroam scheme, you will be able to access the internet from your devices. However, you must have set up Eduroam on your device at your home institution before you visit Liverpool Hope.
