Dr Guy Cuthbertson joins famous faces at literary festivalFriday 8 July 2016
Associate Professor in English Literature Dr Guy Cuthbertson joins a host of famous writers at this year’s Gladfest literary festival.
Hosted by Gladstone Library in North Wales, the festival runs from Friday 2nd September to Sunday 4th September, and features talks by several notable authors.
Among this year’s big names are award-winning writer Val McDermid, author of The End of Mr. Y Scarlett Thomas, broadcaster and journalist Loyd Grossman, and former Episcopal Bishop of Edinburgh Richard Holloway.
Dr Cuthbertson will give a talk on his book Wilfred Owen at the festival on Saturday 3rd September.
The biography was published by Yale University Press in 2014 and in paperback in 2015. It was named as one of the Top Ten Biographies of the Year by Booklist in the USA.
Gladfest describes itself as the UK’s “friendliest festival” and aims to present a programme featuring the world’s best and brightest writing talents.
