Dr Kathrin Wagner presents poster at international conferenceTuesday 25 October 2016
Dr Kathrin Wagner, Lecturer in Art History from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, will present a poster at the international conference Creativity and the City 1600-2000, at the University of Amsterdam on Friday 28th October.
The international and interdisciplinary conference on the history of creativity and the city, aims to bring together recent research in the fields of history, arts, and digital humanities.
Dr Wagner will present The Artist-Migration-Model: A systematic approach to explore migration among early modern artists, sculptors and architects.
In January 2017, the book Artists and Migration 1400-1850. Britain, Europe and beyond, will be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Dr Wagner is acting as lead editor on the book, alongside co-authors Jessica David (Yale) and Matej Klemencic (Lljubljana).
