Mark Littler is an Associate Professor of Criminology at Liverpool Hope University, and currently serves as Deputy Head of the School of Law and Criminology. His teaching and research interests lie around extremism, the internet, criminal justice policy, and the use of quantitative methods in criminological research.
He holds a bachelors degree in law from the University of London (University College London), a masters degree in Applied Criminology from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD from the University of Manchester. He has previously held academic posts at Manchester, Oxford, Hull, and Huddersfield, as well as external appointments at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, the think-tank Demos, and Teesside University's Centre for Fascist, Anti-Fascist, and Post-Fascist Studies.
