Dr Antoinette Huber

Antoinette Huber is a critical criminologist who joined Liverpool Hope University in 2021 as a Lecturer in Criminology. In 2015, she was awarded an MPhil in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge and completed her PhD at Liverpool John Moores in 2020. Antoinette's PhD examined the impact of image-based sexual abuse on women and their experiences in the criminal justice system. Her previous research has focused upon gendered representation of offenders in the media. Antoinette has worked closely with domestic violence organisations, Victims of Internet Crime (VOIC) and the Revenge Porn Helpline. She also worked with Crisis Skylight Merseyside providing educational support in the fight to end homelessness.
