I teach at all three levels and as a dissertation supervisor. I am currently Head of Year for final year students (Level H) in the NoH as well as co-head of First Year (Level C) and the Dissertation Coordinator for the NoH.
I am a former NoH student myself, having graduated in 2010 with a BA Combined Honors in Education Studies and Disability Studies. I graduated, again from Liverpool Hope, in 2017 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (with Special Educational Needs as my speciality). I am part of the Community of Practice that supports development in the NoH and I also represent Education Studies in the NoH liaison meetings. I am currently studying for my Doctorate in Education with Liverpool Hope, my focus being upon 'Non-traditional Students Studying in Higher Education in Further Education Settings: Barriers and Opportunities'.
I am a strong advocate as regards the many benefits that studying in higher education can help bring about for those from non-traditional backgrounds and helping to facilitate and encourage their continued and increased access and participation
