Event: Funds of Knowledge for the 21st century
Hosted by: CEPA, Liverpool Hope University
Venue: online event
Details: This event aims to bring together scholars and practitioners to exchange perspectives on working with young people’s local ‘funds of knowledge’ and imagine pedagogies that harness diversity and create richer opportunities. The symposium invites newer and more established scholars, students and practitioners to develop a set of proposals on the future of the FoK approach. The event aims to launch an international network of researchers and practitioners, inspiring future collaborations.

August 2019

Event: 'Community Kitchen': Focused Food and Nutrition Event
Hosted by: School of Health Sciences
Venue: Health Science Bulding, Hope Park Campus
Details: Organised in collaboration between Liverpool Hope and social enterprises Alchemic Kitchen and Liverpool Veterans HQ the event aimed to explore sustainable foods, nutrition and healthy meals. Dr Leo Stevenson who helped to organise the event received positive feedback from the participants student volunteers and is hoping to expand this type of collaboration in the future.

Event: Soft Computing for Problem Solving - SocProS 2019
Hosted by: School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering
Venue: Hope Park Campus
Details: The future of Artificial Intelligence formed the basis of a world leading conference that was organised and hosted by Liverpool Hope University.
