Christmas Market

Following the success of our first Christmas market in 2022 we are holding another Christmas market this November.

When? Tuesday 28th November, 11am - 3pm

Where? FML Foyer, Hope Park Campus

If you would like to apply for a stall please complete the application form by midday on Friday 24th November. We will be assessing applications as they come in as spaces are limited so you are advised to apply early.

Alder Hey Toy Collection

At the market we will also have a collection point for donations of gifts for the children who will be spending Christmas in hospital. Alder Hey have provided the following guidance:

• We ask that Christmas presents are new and in their original packaging for infection control purposes.
• We ask that Christmas presents are left unwrapped so that we can see what they are and ensure they are delivered to the right age of child.
• We ask that no toy weapons of any sort are donated as we will not be able to give these out to the children.
• We always struggle to have enough gifts for babies and teenagers so please bear these in mind too when making your donation.

Some suggestions of suitable items are:

Toys:

• Individual boxes of lego
• Board games
• cars, trains, dinosaurs and dolls
• Toys for babies and toddlers

Arts and crafts:

• Craft kits suitable for teenagers
• Single use arts and crafts kits
• Bubbles
• Felt pens, colouring pencils and crayons

Sensory:

• Sensory resources for all ages
• Talking tiles
• Distraction toys

Babies:

• Mobiles for cots
• Musical baby items always great

Teenagers:

• • Ear pods
  • Teenage dressing gowns PJ’s
  • Wireless headphones
  • Men’s perfume
  • Older lego
  • Hair accessories
  • Nail polish

Selection boxes are also a good choice.
