We have a variety of conference accommodation options in our Halls of Residence to suit a wide range of tastes and budgets, available from June to September each year.
In addition to the Halls of Residence, we also now offer year round accommodation for events, conferences and private bookings in the EDEN Suite. The EDEN Suite has 17 executive style double en-suite bedrooms and is situated at our Hope Park Campus.
The University also has several Lodges that are available year round. These are ideal for longer stays, or if you prefer more privacy.
Conference organisers may choose to offer delegates a residential rate including the cost of accommodation or the choice to book their own accommodation separately. You can find more information in our Organising and event pages.
Accommodation Booking Procedures
All guest accommodation bookings are processed by the Accommodation team directly (year around). Unless it is for a residential conference taking place on campus.
The Conferencing and Events team look after/process all Student Halls of Residence bookings during the summer period (June – September) for both internal and external bookings.
The Conferencing and Events team reserve guest accommodation via the Accommodation team, on behalf of clients who are organising a residential conference (during summer).
Under the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972, all serviced and self-catering accommodation premises must keep a record of all guests over the age of 16. Therefore, we must collect full name, nationality, arrival date and departure date from guests residing on our campuses. We will also require passport number and place of issue for all guests who are not British, Irish or Commonwealth.
Hope Park
Our Hope Park accommodation offers double en-suite, single en-suite and single shared facilities rooms. For a full list of rooms and rates, click on the Hope Park tab.

Double en-suite
EDEN Suite
The EDEN Suite is located in the recently opened wing of the EDEN building at our Hope Park campus and offers guests 17 en-suite executive double bedrooms, including one suitable for disabled guests.
Furnished in a contemporary and stylish manner, each room is equipped with a flat screen television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary toiletries are also provided to enhance your stay. All rooms offer free wireless internet and are available year-round.
If you choose to stay on a Bed and Breakfast basis, you can enjoy eating breakfast in Fresh Hope.

Wesley, Newman and Teresa Halls
These halls provide a good standard of guest accommodation. Each hall has 110 bedrooms, with a single bed, double wardrobe, study area, chair, drawers and shelves, plus an en-suite shower room and toilet. The rooms are arranged in flats of five, all sharing a large kitchen and dining area, which is equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, extractor, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Please note that no crockery, cutlery or pots and pans will be provided. All rooms offer free wireless internet access.

Single shared
Angela and Austin Halls
Angela and Austin Halls are purpose built student accommodation blocks, spread over four floors. The rooms are generous in size and contain a single bed, wardrobe, shelves, a desk and chair plus a wash basin. Bathrooms, showers and toilets are shared with the other guests on the floor, along with small kitchens. There is a common room on the ground floor with a television. Please note that no crockery, cutlery or pots and pans will be provided. All rooms offer free wireless internet access.
Oscar Romero, Kitty Wilkinson, Josephine Bhakita and Catherine Booth Halls
Oscar Romero, Kitty Wilkinson, Josephine Bhakita and Catherine Booth Halls are part of the Hilda Constance Allen building (HCA) and are very traditional in style with leaded windows and window seats. The rooms are compact and cosy and are located off a long corridor, with shared toilets and showers. There are small kitchen areas suitable for making light meals and snacks but no dining areas. Please note that no crockery, cutlery or pots and pans will be provided. All rooms offer free wireless internet access. These rooms are not suitable for wheelchair users.

Lodges
The Lodges at Hope Park and Green Lane Annex are ideal for longer stays, or if you prefer more privacy. They are rented on a self-catering basis.
Taggart Lodge
We have two guest suites at Taggart Lodge, which is a beautiful detached building conveniently situated next to the Hilda Constance Allen building at Hope Park. Each interior-designed suite is completely self-contained, consisting of a lounge, bedroom and shower room, plus tea and coffee making facilities.
The suites offer guests a well-appointed and private base in which to relax or work. The comfortable double bedroom (suite 3) and single beds (suite 4) are decorated in subtle colours and include a study area with wireless internet access. The lounge offers a place to relax and watch TV at the end of the day.

Green Lane Annex (GLA)
Rooms
Situated in a quiet corner of Hope Park, GLA rooms have a single or twin beds, along with tea and coffee making facilities and free wireless internet. The mixed gender bathrooms are shared with other guests and resident postgraduate students, as is the kitchen and small lounge. All rooms are on the first floor and there is no lift.

Apartments
The GLA apartments offer guests a comfortable ‘home from home’. Both apartments have a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, plus a lounge with flat screen television, free wireless internet access and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments are both situated on the ground floor with level access but are not adapted to mobility standards.

Single en-suite
Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall
Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall is a modern purpose built hall. Rooms have a single bed, wardrobe, study area, chair, drawers and shelves, plus an en-suite shower room and toilet.
The rooms are arranged in flats of four to seven, all sharing a large kitchen and dining area, which is equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, dining table and chairs. Please note that no crockery, cutlery or pots and pans will be provided.
Please note there is no lift access within the Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall. A number of accessible rooms are located on the ground floor, there is a staircase to floors above.
