How to apply

Most postgraduate applications should be made directly to Liverpool Hope University. Your application will be checked by our admissions team and will then be sent to the relevant Faculty for approval. We aim to respond to your application within two weeks.

Entry requirements

For most of our postgraduate degrees, you need to have at least an upper second-class undergraduate degree to be eligible to apply. Full entry requirement details can be found on our postgraduate course pages.

Applying for an MA, MSc, MBA, PGCert or PGDip (Home/EU students)

To apply for a postgraduate degree, you need to download and complete a Postgraduate Application Form and then either post or email the completed form, along with any other relevant documents, to:

Applying for an MA, MSc, MBA, PGCert or PGDip (International students)

There is a different form and a number of extra documents that we need if you are an international student applying for a postgraduate degree. Please visit our International how to apply webpages for full details.

Applying for an MA Social Work

If you are applying for the MA Social Work, you need to make your application through via UCAS.

The UCAS number and abbreviated name for Liverpool Hope University are L46 and LHOPE. The course code for MA Social Work is L501.

APPLYING FOR A PGCE, PGDE OR SCHOOL DIRECT COURSE

To apply for a Teacher Training course, you need to go to UCAS Teacher Training

Direction applications are not accepted for these courses.

Applying for Education Doctorate (EdD)

If you are applying for the Education Doctorate (EdD) then you should apply online.

When to apply

We advise you to apply for a postgraduate degree as early as possible. Liverpool Hope University has two main intakes a year for postgraduate study - January and October. Please note, not all programmes are available at each intake, please check individual postgraduate course pages for full details.
