Northern Ireland Applicant Day

Liverpool Hope University league tables

Visit us in Belfast on Saturday 14th March 2026.

Time: 10am - 2pm

Location: Voco Hotel, Belfast City Centre, BT7 2JB

This is a good opportunity for our applicants from Northern Ireland to attend, that is somewhere closer to home. Attendees are welcome to bring relatives/friends with them on the day. With an impressive 15% of our overall student body stemming from Northern Ireland, we know how important it is to be presented with the right information in order to transition with ease to a different city.

Agenda for the day:

  • A welcome talk: this will include details of living on campus, what it is like to study at a campus-based university and the academic support available, social activities on offer such as clubs and societies, study abroad opportunities, wider opportunities and life in the city of Liverpool, and specific Northern Ireland relevant information (e.g. transport/wider community programmes)

  • There will be members of staff from the university from professional services that you may want to talk to, including representatives from Student Recruitment and Careers and Employability

  • There will be a range of academics from different departments available for 1:1 conversations on the day. Specific to your subject area/faculty of study, they will be there to engage in conversations about the curriculum and modules, placements and how you can be best supported through your studies at Liverpool Hope

  • We will have some of our student ambassadors (some of which transitioned from Northern Ireland) available to share their experiences with you and to support you with any questions that you may have.

Time will be dedicated to reserving your accommodation and our staff can help with this short informal process.

If you are an applicant and would like more information about the event, please email applicant@hope.ac.uk.
