The session will look at the interview process for apprentices whether you're planning to upskill in your current job or apply for a new apprenticeship position. We will look at good practice, how to address nerves, what type of questions you may be asked and more.
Wednesday 11 June 2025 - Work, Life and Study Balance

What to expect: An online session with our Equality and Diversity Inclusion Manager, Chris Beckett. Join us to find out what applying to a degree apprenticeship in the areas of Physiotherapy, Teaching, Youth Work or Social Work involves. The session will look at how apprentices can effectively manage their time to complete their academic studies alongside their day-to-day duties in work, whilst maintaining a happy life at home. We will discuss wellbeing support and where you can seek that through the University or through your employer, the role of the skills coach and workplace mentor and effective techniques for managing your time and workload.

We will explore the value of English and Maths, what the new funding requirements mean, ways to access English and Maths qualifications before starting your course and techniques to support you with this process.
