Who Are We?

Liverpool Hope is based on three beautiful campuses in the heart of the North West. We are lucky enough to call Liverpool our home, which has been voted as the 3^rd best destination in the UK in the TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards for Destinations (2018).

Founded in 1844, our institution is well-known for its rich history of teaching and for opening up higher education to those wishing to expand their knowledge. Our founding colleges were the first to admit women into a higher education institution.

Hope has been successful in shaping well-rounded and employable graduates throughout its history and has been recognised by many different accolades:

• We are Top 2 in the UK for Graduate Employment, with 1% of our graduates being in employment or further education six months after graduating (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education, DLHE, 2016/17).
• We are Top 3 in the North West for Teaching Quality (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020).
• Top 3 in the North West for Student Experience (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020).
• We are ranked as the top university in Liverpool (The Guardian University League Tables 2020).
