The Creative Campus has unveiled a memorial bench for graduate Philippa Coley, who was a hard-working and charismatic aluma.
Philippa remained popular amongst all students and staff, and dedicated her time to getting involved in many events on campus.
She helped support everything from musicals to open mic nights, and often orchestrated performances as a voice for the LGBTQI+ community and feminism.
The bench will remain a place for all those close to Philippa to relive memories of a time that helped shape her into the courageous, happy-go-lucky and upbeat person everyone knew around campus.
It's hoped the bench will also be a place for new people to sit, socialise and create memories as special as the ones Philippa made.
The Creative Campus and wider University communuty extend their deepest sympathies to those friends and family of Philippa and hope this special memorial will be a place to go and reflect in moments of quiet, remembering her philosophy for life - “love more, judge less".
