Design graduate Ana Katricenko was given the honour of showcasing her work in the Bluecoat Display Centre’s ‘In the Window’ exhibit.

As the Design prize winner at the 2019 Degree Show, Ana was given the opportunity to work with the Bluecoat – one of the University’s partners.

Speaking about her creations, Ana said: "During the last two years I have experimented with a wide range of processes and techniques, in order to develop a grounded sense of where my interests really lie.

“As a result, I have produced a collection of slip cast sculptures, extruded vases and 3D printed objects. Creating digital designs for further 3D printing, plaster moulds and extrusions inspired by the outline of my home country Lithuania.

“My work is influenced by a diverse range of sources, united in the exploration of natural forms, colours and textures."

Throughout September, Ana’s pieces were displayed for members of the public to view, at the nationally and internationally recognised contemporary craft and design gallery.
