The final stages of the Creative Campus transformation are taking shape, with the unveiling of the new facilities just weeks away.
Upon completion of the building work, the campus will feature a new Arts Centre, food court, student study spaces and library.
A large refurbished warehouse space, as well as smaller studios for Fine and Applied Art, will be housed in buildings along Shaw Street that have been acquired by the University.
The ground floor of the Cornerstone Building will feature a new Food Court, and study and social space under the Great Hall. While a new Graphic Design studio and fabrication lab will include state-of-the-art equipment, such as 3D printers, plotter and graphics-quality printers.
A new Faculty office, teaching rooms, and hubs for the Student Support and Well-being and Students’ Union teams have also been created as part of the development works.
